In this episode, we discuss the Pass Sanctuary Hochtor, which also has an exhibition at the south portal, on the Carinthian side of the Hochtor. In today's episode, our host Max Kögl meets the two curators of the exhibition "Construction of the Road" in the road keeper's house at Fuscher Lacke. Sibylle Kampl and Andreas Zangl guide the listeners through the exhibition and talk about the two visionaries Franz Rehrl & Franz Wallack and their motivations for realizing the Großglockner High Alpine Road; But also about the difficult working conditions in the high mountains and in times of economic crisis.

On a hike in the Hohe Tauern National Park with national park ranger Konrad Mariacher. With an area of 1,856 km², the Hohe Tauern National Park is the largest national park in the entire Alpine region and one of the largest protected areas in Central Europe.
Today our host Max Kögl will be given a short tour by Konrad along the hiking trail from the Kaiser-Franz-Josefs-Höhe to the Wilhelm-Swarovski viewing platform.

Geboren 1946 in Saalfelden am Steinernen Meer in Salzburg blieb Ihr der Berufsweg Malerin zunächst aber verwehrt - und Sie machte wie Ihr Vater die Ausbildung zum Konditor - später gründete und leitete Sie mit Ihrem Mann gemeinsam ein großes Wäscherei Unternehmen - aber vor 15 Jahren hat Sie dann das Hobby und die Berufung endgültig zum Beruf gemacht. Zeit Ihres Lebens hat Sie sich künstlerisch und technisch weitergebildet und unzählige Kurse besucht - auch von so bekannten Persönlichkeiten wie Hermann Nitsch der Ihr Talent...
